Different Approach!
We have a different approach to chiropractic and your health at this clinic. The uniqueness is how we take care of you as a patient. We not only adjust your spine but work with you to educate you how to prevent the problem from reoccurring again. We also incorporate active rehabilitation which allows us to achieve results quicker and more effectively. Our main focus is to find out what your health goals are and try to get you there as fast as possible.
Chiropractic care is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care . . .
Phase 1: Patch Care
If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better as soon as possible. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 3-4 times per week for 2-4 weeks. When you feel that you are out of pain you can stop care and return if the problem returns. Patch care does not cause long-standing change to your spine or to your posture, but it is a trustworthy option to pain relief from musculoskeletal problems over more invasive forms such as medication or surgery.

Phase 2: Fix / Corrective Care
During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. In this phase, we go beyond patch care and continue the 3-4 times per week for a total of 12 weeks, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem. With this care, we incorporate various exercises and therapies to get the stronger, more corrective changes to your spine and posture. It is in this phase where we train your body to hold and build supporting strength to the adjustments. This is what will make lasting change to correct your problem.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Much like keeping up your body after months of working out, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to keep your body in that state. This helps avoid relapse which could cause problems to return in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
